God is God

Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. (Deu4:39)

I hear so many people make a statement something like this:
The God I believe in would or wouldn’t ……… (Fill in the blank)

However if God is really God then our opinions of what he would do or say don’t really matter.   If you worship a God that only falls under the realm of what you think then you are worshiping a made up God.  God is God and He has revealed himself in his word (the Bible).   Get to know the real God.  

…. because God is love

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.  (1John 4:8-10) 

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved  (Eph2:4-5)

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
